FABRIC SUGGESTIONS - For a lightweight trench-style jacket, try cotton twill or gabardine. For a warmer pea-style jacket, use wool or wool-type coating (not too thick).

- For optional welt pockets: 0.3m (3/8yd) cotton lawn or lining fabric
- Matching thread
- Iron-on interfacing (90cm / 1yd wide, similar weight to your fabric):
- Sizes 1-6: 1.3m (1 1/2yd)
- Sizes 7-15: 1.4m (1 5/8yd) - 20-25mm (3/4-1in) wide buttons – 11 for version with epaulettes + sleeve straps, 7 without
