Who is this suitable for: Over 16's- This course is perfect if you have existing dressmaking skills & would like to extend your sewing skills further.

Don’t get the neatest results or just totally avoid patterns/projects with them? The aim of our skills file sessions is to give you confidence common sewing techniques that will give you the finesse to your projects to make them look professional!

Build your skills file over various classes/sessions to create a perfect reference guide for when you need to use that technique again! (AKA your very own sewing bible)

In this session will cover;

Inserting a concealed zip
ensuring seam joins match up
finishing the zip with a facing/lining

Excellent work shop

As usual, Lucy did a fantastic class and we learned about concealed zip, how to shorten zips and inserting them into garments using different methods. Highly recommend this class.

Zips skills file

Really enjoyed this skills session and I think a second session would be good to look at other options that I spotted in Lucy's file!

Who thought invisible zips would be so achievable. Normal zips covered as well and how to insert them and shorten . As always a great course, with great people in a great studio!
