Who is this suitable for: Over 16's- This course is perfect if you have existing dressmaking skills & would like to extend your sewing skills further, especially if you have previously attended pattern weight course & want to develop these skills into piping garments, bags or interiors
What you'll learn & make: bring along your favourite dress or bag pattern, we'll identify where you could add piping to cuffs, collars, button stands, seams etc and how to make calculates on what materials are required. Increase your confidence & extend your knowledge of different uses for your zipper foot. Learn how to perfectly apply bias to piping cord & how to seamlessly attach to your intended garment/bag etc in a range of different scenarios/shapes. Samples created in the sessions are ideal to build a skills file to create a perfect reference guide for when you need to use that technique again! (AKA your very own sewing bible)
