Free pattern recommendations all in one place...
As you will already know dress patterns can be pricy (i'm totally aware A LOT of work goes into them) but when your just starting out or are trying new styles and skills it can make for expensive mistakes! So i've put together a guide of mainly tried and tested patterns all of which are free...
Things to bare in mind;
- you may have to sign up to a newsletter to claim a free pattern
- make sure you check the scale square before printing the entire pattern
- cross reference the body measurements & finished garment measurements before cutting your size
- if you like the instructions/finished product of a particular pattern company then consider buying future patterns from them
- tag them, leave a review or help to promote their business/social media as a way of thanking them for the free pattern
- check out their other free patterns, most sites have multiple freebies
- all of these patterns are suitable for these fabrics...
