Applique Workshop

Location: Ymca Lytham, Mythop Road, Lytham St Annes, FY8 4HB.

Who is this suitable for: Any over 16- this workshops ideal if you've previously attended the introduction to sewing or have some sewing experience & want to build your skills & confidence!
What you'll Learn & Make: Increase your confidence in using the basic functions of the sewing machine; Learn how to perfect the decorative technique of applique, lots of tips & tricks including using ‘bondaweb’ to produce a personalised designs. Choose to either apply your design to a create a hessian presant sack (approx 75cm by 50cm) coordinating ribbon will be made time dependant but you will leave with the knowledge of how to make it at home. Or a simple but effective stocking.
The timings of this workshop should enable you to complete the project within the session but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete after the session finishes.
