Interfacing is an additional layer applied to the inside of garments, in certain areas only, to add firmness, shape, structure, and support to areas such as collars, cuffs, waistbands and pockets; and to stabilise areas such as shoulder seams or necklines, which might otherwise hang limply.

For providing structure to small areas of garments such as cuffs, collars and belts and for craftwork using fabrics. Suitable for use with lightweight fabrics such as cotton. Iron-on with moderate to hot iron, pressing firmly for 5-10 seconds. Using a damp cloth between the fabric and the iron will allow use of a higher temperature without damaging more delicate fabrics. Machine washable at 40? Centigrade. Dry cleanable.
