** Please carefully read the workshops bookings Terms & Conditions before you book your place(s)**
Date & Time: 10-3pm Friday 26th June
Location: Ymca Lytham, Mythop Road, Lytham St Annes, Lancashire, FY8 4HB
Cost: £30: doesn't Include any pattern or materials but handouts will be provided
Who is this suitable for: Over 16's- A great extension workshop for confident dressmakers who want to elevate their dressmaking skills.
What you'll learn & make: Learn how to calculate & create your own continuous bias binding, a great transferable skill for dressmaking, bag making & interiors (or to complement our piping workshop). Creating continuous bias binding is a great fabric saving skill as pattern pieces cut on the bias are often greedy & fiddly, it makes a great alternative to ready made bias binding too. Select one of our recommended patterns or one you already have to finish necklines, arm holes or create straps with.
Recommended patterns: TATB Leah, Helen's Closet Orchard top/dress, I AM Blandine,
The timings of this workshop should enable you to complete the garment within the session but each person will work at a different pace so please be aware you may have tasks to complete after the session finishes.
