As someone who has only sewn for fun and never attempted applique I was a bit nervous before attending. I needn't have worried though. Lucy is a very good and patient teacher who goes at a pace to suit everybody and is always on hand to help if you get stuck. The people who attended were all really friendly and I felt relaxed straightaway. Came away with a partially done appliquéd tote bag which I was able to complete at home using the skills I'd learnt. Enjoyed myself so much that I have booked onto another workshop to learn another new skill.
