Needlecord - White Leopard
Corduroy has a distinct pattern, a "cord" or wale. Modern corduroy is most commonly composed of tufted cords, sometimes exhibiting a channel (bare to the base fabric) between the tufts.
Needlecord has finer ribs and is typically 14 to 18 cords per inch which gives a lighter weight fabric and a shorter pile than regular corduroy. Perfect for dressmaking,it is also durable but soft with some structure for dungarees & pinafores.
