September Socials

Having never been to the Sewing Institute before, I couldn’t believe how wonderful it was -from the instructions offered, to the lovely group of people all happily sewing away. To have fabric, machines, patterns and instructions all in one place is wonderful but to be able to go on a Saturday morning or out of work hours is a godsend!

All the socials are something to look forward to. Meeting up with friends I have made through the socials and meeting new like minded people who also become friends is wonderful. Sharing each other’s highs and lows in our makes us a bonus too. Not forgetting the expertise assistance from Lucy and Katie is so much appreciated.

I absolutely loved attending the September Social. It was so lovely to chat with people who were continuing with their various projects and have Lucy and everyone on hold for any quick tips or advice on our makes. The space was great with everything you could ever need. I will definitely be booking more!

Great to be back and see old and new faces, see what everyone is making and get expert help and advice from Lucy and Katie, they always think of the safety of everyone too. Also great to see and feel the fabrics in person. For us it’s lovely to all get together and sew as a family/ bit of a girls night out, including the dog 🐶
