Creative Weaving with Jo

Date & Time: 1-3pm Monday 4th OR 6-8pm Wednesday 6th December
Location: Lower Ground Floor, Ansdell Institute, Woodlands Road, Lytham St.Annes, Lancashire. FY84BX.
Cost: £20: Includes all materials and equipment but you make like to bring along bits or ribbons, wool or textiles you might like to include.
Who is this suitable for: Any over 16- this session requires NO sewing experience!
What you'll learn & make:
You will Indulge in playing with fabrics & natural resources to create a design of your choice! The tutor will guide you through creating warp threads on your hoop to create your very own weaving loom. You will manipulate textiles to create your weft threads. Learn weaving techniques, experimenting with arrangement & placement of materials which will allow you to create interesting features in your art work.
(you may not leave with a finished product but will have the skills & knowledge to do so at home)
